What is the Near Field Christ?

The Near Field Christ is a testament to the artists own struggle for faith that takes only the size of a mustard seed to move a mountain. Jesus spoke repeatedly about faith. Even his own disciples struggled with faith. May his words give you and the artist new faith so that you may move mountains. Each chip on the painting holds a scripture that includes words from Jesus, commonly known as Red Letter verses.

Here are a few samples of the teachings of Jesus Christ.

Wherefore, if God so clothe the grass of the field, which to day is, and to morrow is cast into the oven, shall he not much more clothe you, O ye of little faith?

Matthew 6:30

But Jesus turned him about, and when he saw her, he said, Daughter, be of good comfort; thy faith hath made thee whole. And the woman was made whole from that hour.

Matthew 9:22

And Jesus said unto them, Because of your unbelief: for verily I say unto you, If ye have faith as a grain of mustard seed, ye shall say unto this mountain, Remove hence to yonder place; and it shall remove; and nothing shall be impossible unto you.

Matthew 17:20

His lord said unto him, Well done, good and faithful servant; thou hast been faithful over a few things, I will make thee ruler over many things: enter thou into the joy of thy lord.

Matthew 25:23

And he said unto them, Where is your faith? And they being afraid wondered, saying one to another, What manner of man is this! for he commandeth even the winds and water, and they obey him.

Luke 8:25
